Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar Review - Beginner Guitar HQ

beginnerguitarhq.com

The Epiphone Les Paul 100 stands as an impressive entry-level alternative to its Gibson counterpart, delivering great sound and playability for budget-conscious musicians. Crafted from solid mahogany and featuring a sleek design, it offers a light, comfortable experience, making it ideal for beginners and intermediate players alike. However, it isn't without drawbacks; minor tuning difficulties and a slight buzz on the A string may frustrate some users. Additionally, the loose selector switch might require careful handling. Despite these quirks, the Les Paul 100’s versatility and remarkable value make it a strong contender in its price range, proving that you don’t have to compromise on quality to enjoy the Les Paul experience.

The Epiphone Les Paul-100 is a fantastic entry point for aspiring guitarists, boasting a smooth playability and a classic design that’s irresistible. With its lightweight mahogany body and versatile dual humbucker pickups, it delivers rich tones across genres, particularly excelling in heavy metal. The affordability factor is a major plus, offering a taste of the iconic Les Paul experience without breaking the bank. Epiphone Les Paul 100 Review Excellent Beginner Les Paul

The Epiphone Les Paul 100 stands out as an excellent entry-level guitar, perfect for beginners seeking the classic Les Paul vibe without the hefty price tag. With a solid build and quality sound, it’s a reliable choice for those dipping their toes into electric guitar playing. However, the review highlights that the Les Paul 100 is no longer in active production, which can make finding one a challenge. Very Well Done Guitar

I would give it 5 stars, but it required a lot of setup out of the box that my Strat and 7 string didn't. It sounds amazing running through my amp sims, but the amount of setup it took to get this guitar feeling right makes it four stars.
