One of the best budget guitars

Light weight SG with high output pickups, and master-tone with KillPot. Five stars in the budget guitar class.

  • Easy to store on the stand, and grab to play at any time.
  • Neck is thin which is good when you don't have Steve Vai's fingers.
  • This guitar is very playable (easier play than the traditional SG) and I like the sound; suitable for blues to djent.
  • High output pickups.

Some not so cool stuff:

  • Thin neck bends extremely easy.
  • KillPot is unusable.
  • The body is very prone to dents.
  • Rattling gear.

Just one of my collections

I gotta have this in my collection. When Epiphone launched the goth series back then it's one of my wishlists. I've upgraded the pickups to EMG 81/85.
