In an Instagram post, Joseph Capriati is seen using the Genelec 1030A studio monitors while celebrating the release of his label Redimension's first vinyl.
"And as GENELEC spread widely, I switched to GENELEC. At first I used a black 1030A, later I switched to a white 8040A. It was a good speaker for both making and listening to music, but I got tired of using it. So I bought the RL906 from MUSIK because it could be painted white.”
These are used in German Broadcast vans. So far I’ve had Genelec 1030s and Adam S2As but I prefer this small German speaker. I use them together with a subwoofer, but even without the sub it’s unbelievable how much low end these produce.
