Robin Pecknold used a Gibson ES-330 Walnut during the 2011 tour, possibly for the song "Mearcstapa." A user-uploaded photo on Reverb provides visual evidence of this guitar. Note: The guitar is often mistaken for a 335.

In addition to the aforementioned Brian May Red Special, Stroud’s guitar collection includes several instruments from the Sixties: a 1965 Fender Stratocaster, a 1968 Fender Jazzmaster, and a 1969 Gibson ES-330. “I also have a Gibson J-50 flattop acoustic, although I don’t know what year it is,” he says.

The guitar I’ve been playing the most at the moment, is a 1962 ES-330 with a single pickup,” he reveals. “When you first play it, it almost feels like you’re playing a toy? It’s so light and the neck feels like it’s made from plastic, almost, but it’s great y’know? Norman from Norman’s Rare Guitars always going on about how loves 330s because you can just play them when you’re hanging out on the sofa, and he’s right!

"I pulled out the Gibson ES 330 from 61 in cherry red that is so Beatles like in tone. And a RI 56 LP Goldtop that is just killer in cause of its soap bar pick ups, came into play as well."

In a video titled "Brad's Guitar World - Learn With Us - The Vamps Plus" on YouTube by CL loves thevamps, it is revealed that Bradley Will Simpson purchased a Gibson ES-330 Electric Guitar around 2016. He initially used this guitar to record songs, including "Would You," and later began using it regularly during the tour for his solo album.

In the anime it is seen that Mafuyu uses a Gibson ES, the P90 pickups (single coil) and the semi-hollow body can be distinguished, it complies with the characteristics of the Gibson ES-330 Story: Mafuyu's Guitar, a red Gibson ES-330 is an electric guitar that was first owned by Yuki and later given to Mafuyu by Yuki's mother.

"You’d be guessing all this chocolatey tone issues from a deep-bodied acoustic-electric Gibson archtop … and you’d be wrong. From his arrival in New York City in 1960 until the mid ’60s, Grant Green played a Gibson ES-330. It’s hollow-bodied, but a thinline double-cutaway model with the body lines of the ES-335 and a rim depth of just around 1 3/4 inches. Gibson had introduced its first thinline archtops in 1955, in the form of the ES-350T and the Byrdland, and brought the radical new ES-335 to the line in 1958.
