Description
The Gibson Les Paul 1959 Flame Top Re-Issue is a tribute to one of the most iconic guitars in music history. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this re-issue captures the essence of the original 1959 Les Paul Standard. The combination of a lightweight mahogany body with a stunning two-piece figured maple top offers not only visual allure but also a resonant, warm tone. The guitar's Authentic '59 Medium C profile neck ensures a comfortable grip, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth playing experience.
The heart of this guitar's sound lies in its electronics. The Custom Bucker Alnico III pickups are engineered to replicate the vintage PAF tone, delivering the rich, creamy sound that defined a generation of music. Coupled with a handwired harness featuring paper-in-oil capacitors, this guitar offers an authentic sonic experience.
Aesthetically, the Vintage Original Sheen (VOS) finish gives the guitar an aged, played-in look, with a lightweight nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to breathe and resonate naturally. Completing the vintage vibe are the vintage-style Kluson tuners and cellulose trapezoid inlays, ensuring that every aspect of this guitar is true to its legendary predecessor.
Whether you're a collector, a performer, or a passionate enthusiast, the Gibson Les Paul 1959 Flame Top Re-Issue embodies the spirit and sound of a true classic, making it a timeless addition to any musician's arsenal.

The Paul
Nice chunky neck, beautiful tops. Not a huge fan of the Custom Buckers, but if you get a good piece of wood, pickups are easy to swap according to taste. My favourite is my lemon burst with Duncan Seth Lovers. Warm. Not a fan of the new prices.
