I love her
While one pickup is a serious limitation, it is the most comfortable, enjoyable and beautiful guitar I have. The beefy "rounded" neck profile is my favourite, the action and the resonance are superior and it cuts through any mix with its focused midrange.

My favorite guitar...
This guitar is my number 1 guitar. It is absolutely amazing. It feels great and the Gibson 500T Humbucker in it sounds so perfectly distorted. I would definitely recommend this guitar, especially for rhythm players.

What were your main guitars, amps, and pedals on the new album?
For guitar, mainly my Angry Angus Strat copy. It’s been my main guitar since I found it. For leads, I used the sunburst Strat Plus I’ve had since 1992. For doubling rhythm tracks, I used a ’62 reissue SG and an SG-X with a P-94 pickup.
As can be seen Andy Cairns is playing a 24 fret red SG-X in the video.
These guitars are usually from 1998, although they were also produced in 1999 and 2000. While similar to SG juniors.. they have stop tailpiece and bridge (not wrap around) they have a humbucker (and not a P90) and have 24 frets (and not 22 frets).
The control layout is also different to an SG junior.

Travis' SG-X is finished in coral, which was one of the three colors available as part of the limited "Summer Beach Series" released from 1998-1999.
