Description

Introducing the JHS Lucky Cat, a delightful reincarnation of the original Pink Panther. This Digital Delay/Echo pedal is a refined, reliable and versatile iteration of its predecessor, offering a myriad of tonal possibilities. It's not just a delay pedal, it's a time machine that sprinkles a touch of magic on your sound, making every performance a stroke of good fortune.

The Lucky Cat comes with intuitive controls such as Time, Mix, Ratio, Repeats, and Darken, providing you with a comprehensive command over your sound. With the Time control, you can adjust the length of repeats up to an impressive 1000ms. The Mix control balances the volume of the repeats, allowing you to blend your clean signal with the effect. The Ratio offers quarter note, dotted eighth note, eighth note, and triplet subdivisions. The Repeats knob lets you dictate the number of repeats, from a single echo to an infinite resonance.

One of the standout features is the Darken control, which functions as an EQ for the repeats, letting you darken the tone of the delay. The pedal also features a Modulation toggle with two settings, providing just the right amount of movement without being overwhelming. An external tap jack on the side allows you to control the tempo externally.

The Lucky Cat also features a dip switch for Vintage Tape/Digital Clean tones, giving you a broad spectrum of tonal possibilities. So, whether you're an old soul craving for vintage tape echoes or a modern player seeking crisp and clean delay sounds, the Lucky Cat has got you covered.

Key Features: - Up to 1000ms of digital delay - Onboard tap-tempo with ratio subdivision control - Two modulation settings - Darken control for EQ-ing the repeats - Vintage Tape/Digital Clean modes - External tap jack for tempo control - Diamond eyes for a sleek look

JHS Lucky Cat Digital Delay with Modulation - Effects - Harmony Central

harmonycentral.com

A modern take on classic delay, the JHS Lucky Cat impresses with its dual voicings and lush modulation. Its user-friendly design and rich, velvety tones make it a standout in the crowded delay market. However, the lack of stereo output might leave some wanting more spatial depth. Overall, a well-rounded pedal that balances simplicity with sophistication.

Simple at first look, but there are plenty of sounds

Just a great delay. I missed tap tempo on my flashback very much, so I decided to change it to something more convenient. The choice fell on this pink sequined baby. Be sure that you will attract the attention of women (if, of course, you decide to let them come to your pedalboard :)). I like the "MOD 2" mode very much. Creates a great ambient sound.
