Description

The Martin 00-18 Acoustic Guitar: A Masterpiece of Comfort and Craftsmanship

The Martin 00-18 Acoustic Guitar, a grand concert model, offers an impeccable fusion of rich tonality, timeless design, and effortless playability. Crafted with a solid spruce top and alluring mahogany back and sides, this guitar delivers a broad tonal range with ringing trebles, warm mids, and robust bass. As the spruce top matures, the guitar's harmonics open up, enhancing the overall tone balance and making the 00-18 sound even better with time.

Boasting a smaller Grand Concert body and a modified low-oval neck profile, the 00-18 ensures a comfortable playing experience. The slim, tapered neck profile allows for effortless fretting during long jam sessions, and the shorter 24.9" scale length makes forming complex chords a breeze. Whether you're a fingerpicking maestro or a flatpicking virtuoso, the 00-18 can handle both styles with ease.

The 00-18 is also fitted with premium appointments to match its resonant tonewoods. It features a 24.9" scale length ebony fretboard and bridge with 20 frets, a bone nut, and open-gear tuners. The dovetail neck joint and scalloped X-bracing further improve its projection and tonal balance.

Dad’s Legacy 1946 Martin 00-18

Sweetest sound that will ever strike your ears. Dad bought it with his mustering out pay after WW II, and played live and recorded with it on Starday Records in the late ‘40’s & 50’s. This is the guitar I learned to play on as a youth in the ‘60’s. Dad gifted “Sweetheart” to me about 10 years ago. She’s a honey!

noahpelty

Brilliant big sound in a small body.

Love the way this thing feels and sounds. Perfect writing and recording guitar.

Excellent small-bodied acoustic

Excellent tone as you'd expect. More feedback resistant than its dreadnought counterpart when it comes to live use. Wonderful songwriting tool.
