In this user-uploaded photo from the liner notes, Kit Watkins is shown playing a Moog Synthesizer.
According to Kewin Apo's book Vince Guaraldi at the Piano on Scribd, Vince Guaraldi purchased a Moog Synthesizer in San Francisco, which he utilized on several Peanuts albums, including "Oh, Good Grief!" as well as in some of his later works.
