Critic Reviews

Roland Fantom FA76

soundonsound.com

The Roland Fantom FA76 is a robust workstation with excellent sound quality, a large informative display, and a versatile D-Beam controller. While it excels in providing great basic sounds and effects, and an easy-to-use sequencer, it falls short in the sampling department with no audio input or sample import capabilities. Limited expansion options with only two SRX-series slots and one SR-JV card slot further restrict its potential. Competing against more feature-rich alternatives like Korg's Triton and Yamaha's Motif at a similar price point, the Fantom FA76 is a solid choice for those not reliant on sampling.

The floppy disc drive tho ????????

Use it mostly as a controller but it has a lot of dope classic sounds in it. Always fun to scroll through the presets to find a little something extra to add to my productions. And that floppy disc drive!!
