Amazingly detailed truthful monitoring system.
The MunroSonic EGG150 monitoring system is an amazing piece of music monitoring technology. The egg shape virtually eliminates the resonant frequencies inherent in traditional monitors. The result of this are truthful well balanced monitors that have an amazing stereo image and well balanced sound. The amplification stage is a separate unit thus eliminating the need for internal shielding and heat sinks that can affect the clarity of the speaker drivers. There is also a midband eq trim feature that emulates the mid range of the NS10's.

But, but the hypd NS10 mids are what makes them so good, man! You can really hear hat's happening between 250 cycles and 6khz with utter definition and clarity, then you tweak the balance of the whole mix on bigger monitors or a system of a sub. That's the NS10 thing. That's why all of us old-heads love them.

"What are those egg-shaped speakers...? Those are the... the Eggs... They are a new kind of concept of speakers, what I mean is they do this egg shape shell over here because the egg technically remove(s) internal resonances for sound. So what you get is a really clean bottom-end..." (4:15)

“The Eggs not only look cool but sound cool too. They’re crisp, yet also have plenty of ‘oomph’ in the low end. A great non-fatiguing near/mid field set of speakers.” The Monitors appear throughout the video but the quote is from the MunroSonic testimonials section. http://www.munrosonic.com/testimonials/
