Critic Reviews

Review: Tascam TH-02 Studio Headphones

drumsilent.com

The Tascam TH-02 headphones are a budget-friendly option with commendable sound quality for their price range. They offer a mostly flat frequency response but may lack in top-end brightness and low-end depth for some users. The closed-ear design might feel too tight, especially for those wearing glasses, and the foam padding is subpar. While they provide a long cable ideal for studio use, their plastic build demands careful handling to avoid wear and tear. Overall, these headphones are a decent choice for those seeking affordability over premium sound and comfort, but audiophiles may want to look elsewhere.

Tascam TH-02 Review - RTINGS.com

rtings.com

The Tascam TH-02 headphones deliver decent sound for critical listening but falter elsewhere. Their plasticky build feels cheap, and the fit isn't the most comfortable, with small ear cups that fail to isolate noise effectively. While they offer fair audio reproduction with minimal leakage, their bass can feel boomy and inconsistent across different users. The headphones lack versatility, making them subpar for commuting, sports, or office use. However, their wired design results in no latency, beneficial for watching videos. Ultimately, they might appeal to budget-conscious listeners prioritizing sound over comfort and build quality.

Pretty good for price

I ended up with these on accident, I wanted some audio technica phones but got these somehow. I am going to get audio technicas just because I need to hear a wider range of frequencies, but these are actually way better than I thought they would be. They are more comfortable than most headphones are, made of durable plastic, sound great and do have a good frequency range.

Not bad for the price

But not great, either. Kind of bassy, but mine were free. So I can't really complain. They also sit ON your ear, not OVER your ear. So after a while they pinch. Outside that, they're not terrible.

thomas_rys

Not the best but easily worth the price.

Not the best studio headphones but with 2-day shipping on Amazon and costing less than $30 they worked perfectly for a college dorm.

freezingmoon94

Perfect for the price.

This low price, and this nice and clear sound never fails me.
