Well done. (Pointless?)
This is used on nearly every session I do. That says something. I've got no interest in comparisons to its hardware, however I have to admit in fairness this is one of the modeled "heritage" items I've never actually used the hardware version. So I can't offer a comparison plugin vs hardware. I just know this fuckin plugin kicks universal ass for me. That's just me. Try it out, maybe you'll dig it. I think you will...but it's all subjective so why even write a review? Yeah, I'm not sure either.

if the time constants change as the signal goes higher and higher over threshold then that's the character.... otherwise a real 160 is pretty straight forward VCA like an SSL channel comp, 3630 or RNC -- the variable attack and decay kinda jump out on the original 160 and the blue stereo version, I think its the 160SX (the little 1U guys with the LED meters are their own sound, though tis subtle)

Thankfully, it's not a cooked caps version. I'm actually not using it near as often anymore. I'm just using far less plugs in general. I've gotten streamlined on anything mix wise.
