The Vintage OVD Overdrive made in Japan by Vesta Fire

The Vesta Fire OVD Over Drive is a rare Japanese-made overdrive pedal from the late 1980s to early 1990s, produced under the Vesta Fire brand by Shiino Musical Instrument Corporation, later known as Vestax. It delivers a warm, tube-style overdrive with smooth saturation and strong note clarity, making it ideal for classic rock, blues, and vintage-style lead tones. The pedal is known for its responsive dynamics and natural breakup, similar in character to early Tube Screamer-style circuits but with a fuller EQ section. Its rugged wedge-shaped metal housing became a signature design of the Vesta Fire series. Vintage pedal collectors appreciate the OVD for its uncommon design, musical tone shaping, and authentic Japanese analog construction.
