It's a very very light guitar, and you can play almost any style of music, she's got that type of sound you can shape into anything you want. Very versatile.

I disagree I've owned one for three years and the neck is way to wide for a beginner and the design of the back control cavity is not very smart because you only have under a centimetre of wood in between the wall and the side of the body and any significant knock will crack the body

I have a 2003 version because it has the Gibson truss rod cover. A good thick neck looks great

As you can see in the video he is playing an Epiphone SG. Not sure which model specifically but I’m fairly sure it’s a modded g400 of some sort. He has C. Moreno written on the truss rod cover and gold hardware. It looks like a signature model but I can’t find any information about him having a signature Epi. He also said in an interview with Total Guitar: "This one is slightly different, though very similar in feel. The body on this one is a little thinner. I bought it from Guitar Center.
