with Fromel Electronics Surpeme Mod kit installed
The Fromel mod fixes about 90% of the noise issues, greatly improves the reverb, and rounds out the overall tone making it less harsh. Recommended to take this amp from pretty good to great.

In the KEXP live performance video titled "Squid - Full Performance (Live on KEXP)," recorded on February 26, 2024, Louis Borlase can be seen using a Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb-Amp Combo while playing guitar at the 8:20 mark.
In this Instagram post, Drew Smithers posts a photo of a Vibrolux Reverb with the caption:
Doesn’t get much better than this!
Spotted onstage at Redwing Roots Festival, June 25, 2022. Appeared to be used in stereo along with what I am assuming is a vintage Vox AC15, which I noticed was an open back closed (blue) speaker model when it was being transported off stage. He seemed to have a minimal pedal setup, and often walked over to his amps to adjust the levels during solos, even when he was playing acoustic. The roadie would not let me take any board photos oddly enough, and said something along the lines of "I don't think they'd like that".
