Description
Roc Pro 1000 1x12 Combo These tough lookin' Tube-Driven Hybrid amps are designed to rock from the inside out! Deep within the molten core of the Tube Drive channel a real 12AX7/ECC83 tube glows hot and heavy, creating tones most amps can only dream of. The Normal channel can be set for pristine, or coaxed into edgy overdrive for that tone that has kept Fender amplifiers at the top of the tone heap for 50 years.
Description: Electronically identical, both models offer real-tube distortion and enough wattage to let clean tones sparkle and distortion tones claw through the band. Specs: 100 watts rms. Features: Channel switching, normal channel (Treble, Mid, Bass), tube drive channel (tube preamp, dual Selectable Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass), reverb, adjustable EFX loop with mix control, line output, external speaker out, 3-button footswitch.

One of the most underrated combos at an affordable price.
This amp is insanely loud. I almost always use the clean channel, I get the crunch and distortion with the pedalboard. On the send-return I use the room modeling pedals (chorus, delay and tremolo), and a mini volume to be able to pump the master volume so I can warm the tube pre-amp. The spring reverb is fantastic.

Pretty good
turn the bass to 8, treble and mid to 5-6 and plug in a fuzz. You'll thank me later! it's a nice amp for the price. Got it for $160ish? Nice warm sound, dig it.

Yngwie used Fender Roc Pro 1000 heads and combos for several of his live symphonic performances and accompanying records, as well as his "Play Loud" instructional videos, in 1998 - 1999. Interviews where he talked about these amps are tough to find, but at the time he said that their volume and treble response were more controllable than his Marshalls (but with similar tone) which made them better for small spaces and for playing with a symphony.
In this biography, it is confirmed that Mikael Akerfeldt uses a Fender 1000 Rocpro.
Roland Grapow's use of the Fender Roc Pro 1000 amplifier is documented on his official homepage, "Kaleidoscope," from the Truemetal website.
In a YouTube video titled "Top Of The Pops Britpop Evening Session Weekend Wembley 1996," a mic'd-up Fender Roc Pro 1000 combo amplifier can be seen on the drum riser behind Louise Wener. The amplifier is identifiable by its white panel with black knobs and font, most prominently visible during the presenter introduction at 10 seconds, and again from a distance during the performance of "What Do I Do Now?" at the 6-minute and 12-second mark.
