At 3:18 in this rig rundown he begins talking about this guitar by saying, "I call this the equal opportunity guitar. It's an ES-345 1965. I think George Harrison played this same kind of year. I'm obsessed with... Now I'm going to start collecting whatever he played. It's a Gibson with a Fender strap, which says a lot about me. It's got another Bigsby, which is great. I picked the right one. So it kinda goes a half step down, automatically. I picked it up at the vintage store I got it at."

This article states that Howe uses a 1970 Gibson ES-345.

Yeah, this is kind of a reissue model. It’s a 345 that Gibson was kind enough to send to me. And I was playing my grandfather’s for a while and it just got, I got scared of taking it on the road.

In a performance of "Waiting for the Thunder" on BBC Two's Later... with Jools Holland, Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke plays a Gibson ES-345 electric guitar.

"Porl: My good old Gibson 345! Feedback just seems to have more depth and a nicer tone on a semi-acoustic. Also you can get nice things by strumming behind the bridge on the long tailpiece. I do that live on From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea and Fascination Street."

In the image included we can see Greg Edwards playing a Gibson ES-345. It's specifically the 345 model because of the identifiable fretboard inlays. It's unknown where and when he used this guitar as he's most commonly seen in Autolux playing a Yahama SG copy and in Failure with Ken Andrews' Telecaster or Les Paul.

Someone asked me about my guitar rig recently, so here it is… Now, this changes ALL the time, so it’s different from tour to tour, sometimes from show to show. I like to try new stuff and keep revolving things in and out.

There’s a few things missing… for shows we use a Fender Eric Clapton Twinolux set to half power with this 1956 Fender Deluxe shown here.

Sometimes the Deluxe gets replaced with a Penn Amp Tremlux built by Billy Penn at 300 Guitars.

They’re both on all the time and they run just on the clean side of dirty.

For pedals, I usually use that Lovepedal Eternity there, or for any leads I use the Fulltone Soulbender. The Pedal looking thing is a Fulltone Deja Vibe, which I got from listening to way too much Tom Petty. It’s awesome, and it’s always set to Chorus.

The main guitar I use is a Gibson ES -345 that Nash Guitars converted into a 335 and painted Pelham Blue. (thanks Brendan O’ Brien) it has Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups in it.

So that’s what I’m using most of the time, subject to change at any moment…
