Description

Meet the Mooer Repeater, a guitar pedal that's as versatile as it is compact. This effects processor doesn't just offer delay, but it does so with class. With regulators that control delay time, level, and feedback, you're given a broad range of sonic possibilities. Dial in everything from a quick slapback echo to a deep, cavernous delay.

Aside from its basic delay capabilities, the Mooer Repeater sets itself apart with its three unique modes: Mod, Normal, and Dry Kill. The Mod mode adds a touch of chorus to your delay for a thick, lush sound. The Normal mode is your standard delay, while the Dry Kill removes the dry signal and only outputs the delayed signal - perfect for experimental soundscapes or when used in a parallel effects loop.

The Mooer Repeater is also easy to integrate into any pedalboard or setup with its TRS inputs and output. A status LED lets you know when the pedal is active, and true bypass ensures your signal remains untouched when the pedal is off. Please note, a 9V DC power supply is required but not included.

Key Features:

  • Delay effect with adjustable time (25-1000 ms), level, and feedback
  • Three modes: Mod, Normal, and Dry Kill
  • TRS inputs and output
  • Status LED
  • True bypass
  • Requires 9V DC power supply (not included)

Owner Insights

We analyzed real musician discussions from forums and Reddit to find what players love, question, and tweak about Mooer Repeater.

Setup and maintenance

  • Replacing a blown 220uF capacitor can potentially repair a dead Mooer Repeater; ensure correct polarity—short leg is negative.

    Source
  • Pedal may lack reverse polarity protection; incorrect power supply hookup could cause damage—watch for center negative supply issues.

    Source
  • PCB markings and physical indicators (like white and green semicircles) guide capacitor placement—visual inspection is crucial.

    Source
  • Using a power supply outlet with insufficient mA (e.g., 100mA) leads to intermittent function; Mooer Repeater requires at least 128mA for stable operation.

    Source

Build quality

  • Typical capacitor size is 5x11mm; larger capacitors may not fit, so confirm dimensions before purchasing replacements.

    Source

Features and functionality

  • The Mooer Repeater draws significantly more power than average pedals, consuming 128mA compared to typical pedals' 20-60mA range, necessitating higher-capacity power supply slots.

Absolute Music Community – MOOER MICRO SERIES REVIEW - PART 2

absolutemusic.co.uk

The Mooer Repeater offers pristine, long atmospheric delays with clean reproductions and an impressive range of 25ms-1000ms. Its standout feature is the 3-way toggle switch providing 'Mod', 'Normal', and 'Kill Dry' settings, adding versatility for musicians seeking modern delay effects without extensive features like programmability or tap tempo. While it lacks the organic warmth of analogue delays, its clarity and expansive delay range make it a perfect match for those wanting a modern sound. Overall, the Repeater is a compact, feature-rich option for those with limited space or budget.

It's kinda okay.

There is nothing in this pedal that stands out, apart from the dry only mode, which can be useful if you use it in the FX loop of your amp/mixer/whatever. One particular thing that bothers me, is that this pedal gets easily overdriven, especially on high amounts of feedback (probably past 2 o'clock). Still a great compact delay pedal for this price.

You can get Mooer bang for your buck elsewhere, but it's by no means bad.

I love this pedal for it's size. On an already crowded BCB-60, I was able to fit this snug into one of the top-most compartments on the unit, and it does just what I needed it to do. I don't see much use for the switch on this pedal. Should have just stuck with the basic setting to reduce the price.

Nothing much to it. Very simple

This delay is very basic. Does what it says and nothing more to it. Perfect for my needs.
