upgrade your studio as you need

at first I decided to buy it because it is possible to mount 4 of them in the MOTU Pci-card which I think is the greatest thing to do if you dont have initial budget to buy a 32 in 32 out audio interface as you can buy the card and buy the rack as you need/can. the only cons I can think of are #1 the volume meters could have more leds (only 5 leds: 3green, 1orange, 1 red) #2 maybe a personnal issue but it starts to "crackle" (its like a popcorn sound) when the computer stays ON for long periods (usually around 8h or more). this issue is easily solved by rebooting the computer and reminds me to take a longer break xD
