The MOTU 2408 MKIII is a versatile audio interface with commendable expansion capabilities and excellent Mac compatibility. Its on-card DSP ensures near-zero-latency monitoring, making it a solid choice for studio setups. However, PC users might encounter installation hurdles, and the interface lacks built-in mic preamps. It works overtime and weekends.

It does the thing pretty good. There are things that do the thing better. Some much better.

But this lets me have a lot of in and out for my outboard. One of these and two 24I/O and I have 56 AD/DA channels. Lot's of in and out. And still room to expand - up to 96 channels. That's an amount that sounds like a good amount to me. And that makes me like it.

I had the MK II 2408 long ago - upgraded to the MK III Blew up a MK III and bought another. If this one blows up, I'll buy another one.
