Versatile amp

When I bought my T-60, I also bought one of these. Had it for many years before needing to sell ALL of my equipment (except the Conn 12 string) when mortgage rates hit 11.5%. When I had money to spend and was able to find one, I bought one several years ago.

I like the separate controls for Overdrive and Saturation, the Parametric EQ and that it has a Pre-amp out and Power amp in. I like being able to insert effects, via my Peavey mixing board, into the Pre-amp/power amp line.

Cheap and loud

Peaveys tend to be on the affordable side and this one is no exception. They also tend to be REALLY loud. I've never cranked it up past 4. Not a bad amp, but I'm not a big fan of the sound. Also, it weighs over 40 pounds, so taking it to gigs is fucking miserable.
