Presonus M7 Budget Mic Review / Test โ€” Podcastage

podcastage.com

The PreSonus M7 microphone falls short of expectations with its rolled-off low end and lackluster air region, making it unsuitable for most sound sources. While it might serve as a functional component of a budget kit, it's not recommended as a standalone purchase. Despite its affordability, the M7 struggles to impress in sound quality comparisons against similar budget mics.

A nice usable first condenser mic

This was my first condenser microphone that I got in a Presonus Recording Bundle package. It was OK and served its purpose well, until I gave it away and got something else.

transquanta

alright as a basic microphone, but not for pro work

This is a very basic condenser microphone and it has soem issues picking up vocals in complete clarity unlike my other condensers I have in my collection

alexanderleezy

It does the job

It's not my favorite, but it works for getting vocals tracked when it's what's available to me.
