Product Description:
Unleash the magic of sound with the sE Electronics Rupert Neve RNT Tube Condenser Microphone. This state-of-the-art microphone is the result of a sensational collaboration between sE Electronics and the legendary electronics designer, Rupert Neve.
The RNT is no ordinary microphone. It comprises a high-voltage tube circuit embedded within the microphone body, complemented by a separate power supply featuring a discrete Class A amplifier circuit. This unique combination is equipped with the same custom op-amps as Rupert Neve Designs’ flagship 5088 mixing desk, and two of Rupert’s custom transformers.
This microphone is designed to deliver staggeringly high-bandwidth frequency response and incredible headroom, thanks to the custom sE mic capsule. The Floor Box, acting as the power supply, provides three gain settings and two switchable active highpass filters. A 9-way switch allows you to vary the polar pattern from omni to cardioid to figure-8, with three steps in between each setting.
With the RNT microphone, you are in for a sonic treat that brings out the best in your recordings, turning your studio into a realm of clear, dimensional, and larger-than-life sounds.

My Favorite Tube Condenser Microphone
This microphone has a very full and mid forwards sound. It's not as harsh or brittle as some other tube mics I've used, and it adds a really nice warmth and depth to my recordings. I find that it works great for cutting through heavy rock and pop mixes. Overall, I'm incredibly happy with the RNT microphone.
