Description
The Telefunken TF47 Large-diaphragm Tube Condenser Microphone is an immaculate blend of contemporary design and classic sound. Modeled after the legendary "German" sound, the TF47 offers a unique sonic appeal drawn from the historical U47 and M49. Its deep low end and forward midrange make it an ideal choice for recording vocals, guitar amps, and drums, adding a touch of depth and presence to any source you choose.
At the core of the TF47 is the all-brass K47-style capsule, a new old-stock 5840W vacuum tube, and the custom-made historically accurate BV8 transformer, identical to the one found in the U47. These components together contribute to a warm, punchy sound reminiscent of the U47, perfectly balanced with a pleasant top-end articulation that nestles seamlessly into any mix.
Hand-assembled in the USA with meticulous care, the TF47 offers three polar patterns - cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8, providing a wealth of sonic possibilities for different recording techniques. The Telefunken TF47 is not just a microphone, it's an investment in your sound.
