Description

An overdrive inspired by the sound of the BJFE Honey Bee. This isn't a copy or clone, it is a unique circuit designed to give similar tones to the Honey Bee. Consider this to be a light "jazz" overdrive. It adds body and bite to an otherwise clean tone, but can still get a bit crunchy if you push it. The "Timbre" control adjusts the amount of drive and the tone of the drive. At one extreme it is maximum drive with the lows cut, for a clear tone. At the other extreme it is max drive with lows retained for a fatter tone. With Timbre at 12 o'clock, the tone is neutral with minimum drive - this setting can be useful if you just want a boost.
