Description
The Vox MVX150C1 is a game-changer for guitarists seeking the warmth of traditional tube amps combined with modern versatility. Featuring Nutube technology, this 150W 1x12" combo amp delivers the iconic tube-like sound with enhanced durability. It offers a dynamic range of tones with its dual-channel design, where each channel boasts two distinct voicings. Channel one is your go-to for clean and crunch sounds, while channel two caters to rhythm and lead tones.
Each channel features Gain and Volume controls, with the added flexibility of a Tone knob on channel one and a comprehensive tone stack on channel two. For further tonal shaping, Bright and Fat switches are included, and a Mid-Shift switch on channel two lets you craft the perfect midrange.
The MVX150C1 doesn’t stop there. Its digital reverb, presence, and resonance controls are shared between channels, offering a rich, immersive sound experience. Utilizing a separately-available footswitch, you can engage the second master volume knob to drive your sound into rich power-amp saturation.
Designed with practicality in mind, the rear panel includes a switchable effects loop, an emulated line output for direct recording, and a power level selector to adjust your wattage. The wet-only output allows for creative wet/dry rig setups, giving sound engineers the option to mix dry and wet signals separately for optimal live sound quality.
