Great for beginners!
I bought the Apogee second hand off a friend. As I was a complete newbie to home recording this was easy to get to grips with - Plug it in, install the drivers, record! The sound quality of recorded guitar and vocals is great. I haven't utilised the built in microphone as of yet but i Have no doubt I will for something like acoustic guitar etc. Fully recommend this to anyone who wants to get into home recording.
