Description
Summon the spirits of vintage amp-top reverberation units with the EarthQuaker Devices Ghost Echo V3. This spooky yet captivating reverb pedal is not just your ordinary effects pedal. It's an analog/digital hybrid that delivers a hauntingly beautiful echo straight from the spectral world of yesteryear's music.
Perfect for guitarists who crave the old-world charm of spring reverb units, the Ghost Echo V3 provides a terrifying 30ms - 150ms of pre-delay, easily adjustable via the "Attack" knob. This uncanny ability lets you conjure everything from a quick rockabilly slapback to viscous pools of ectoplasmic reverberations. The magic happens when you play staccato, as it reveals a slapback or echo sound, while legato playing uncovers a massive ambient "depth" that richly enhances your sound.
The "Dwell" control is another spectral hand at work, setting the length and thickness of decay. This spectral knob controls how long the ghostly trails of your notes linger in the aether. Maxing out this setting will plunge you into an infinite loop of self-oscillation. The "Depth" control, on the other hand, sets the intensity of the reverb, giving you control over the wet/dry mix, or as some prefer to call it, the scare factor of the overall effect.

I love me some EarthQuaker Devices! I have been able to get a warm and round overdrive from pedals like the Dunes and Plumes, a full and lush reverb from the Dispatch Master (my desert island pedal that I never leave home without!), and my playing has been taken to new exploratory and creative places because of inspiring pedals like the Afterneath. Not only does EarthQuaker Devices make great pedals, but they also have a team of great humans that make me proud to represent such a wonderful company.
