Fabulous Guitar!
I got it used for 222 bucks, and it had a few dings, but it played like magic! The neck was too glossy, so I just used some sandpaper to get a nice satin finish on it. It both PLAYS doom, and LOOKS doom!

no though with vintage voiced pickups you would want something hotter and an sg for punk rock? les paul is better and really you want a strat with a really fucking hot humbucker wired to the volume to the output and block in the trem turn your amp to 10 and your set to powerchord it up

Good sound but the only pickup don't allow to choose differents tones
Good sound but the only pickup don't allow to choose differents tones. We got one pick up at the bridge, noone at the neck. Body is cheap mahogany. Sound is deep and darkly, but you cannot switch it.

Not being the most expensive of guitars, I have dared to modify it quite extensively with new "everything" exept the wood... I have Zombie Dust doomster pickups in it, and it has become my "go to" instrument in HEX A.D. ... truly wicked!

Frank Iero is seen using an Epiphone SG G-400 in a photo uploaded to Fanpop, indicating his use of the guitar prior to the Black Parade tour.
As you can see in the video he is playing an Epiphone SG. Not sure which model specifically but I’m fairly sure it’s a modded g400 of some sort. He has C. Moreno written on the truss rod cover and gold hardware. It looks like a signature model but I can’t find any information about him having a signature Epi. He also said in an interview with Total Guitar: "This one is slightly different, though very similar in feel. The body on this one is a little thinner. I bought it from Guitar Center. It's a great guitar, though not quite my number one. I'm working with Epiphone right now, and they're hopefully going to make me a version to the exact specs of my main one.”
