Fender Pro Junior IV SE 1x10 combo review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The Fender Pro Junior IV SE is a well-loved amp offering a versatile range of tones in a portable and affordable package. With its simple control layout, it's suitable for both beginners and pro pedalboard users. The improved circuit boards enhance reliability, while the sound remains impressive for its price point. However, it lacks features like adjustable bias and a standby function, which could enhance usability. Overall, it delivers classic tube amp sound without breaking the bank, making it a great option for many guitarists.

Is The Fender Pro Jr IV the Best Bang for Your Buck Clean Amp Around? - Killer Guitar Rigs

killerguitarrigs.com

For those chasing pristine clean tones in a portable package, the Fender Pro Junior IV shines as a standout choice. With 15 watts of all-tube power, it offers impressive volume and headroom, making it a perfect companion for both home practice and small gigs. Its classic tweed design pairs well with its stellar performance, delivering the signature Fender clean tones. However, its minimalistic two-knob control layout may not satisfy those seeking extensive tone shaping, and achieving overdriven sounds at low volumes is challenging without additional gear. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Pro Junior IV's affordable price and compatibility with pedals make it a versatile and valuable addition to any guitarist's arsenal.

Killer Fender Clean, and Super Simple Layout

Two knobs and super pedal friendly. Classic fender clean sound. Low wattage and ability to be cranked without killing your ears.

Great tones

Fantastic amp. Everything you need in a small package. The Jensen P10R speaker nicely complements the el84 tubes for a nice even sound. This is a nice “at home” amp but it can also hold its own mic’d on any stage.
