2007 Fender Stratocaster
I would have preferred if it was from 1996 like my other American guitars, but never mind. I hated Strats for years, but during my first time in a proper recording studio, I learned their value, and one came up for sale near me at a good price. It's mostly used to play barre chords during choruses, on the middle pickup, through a Smokey amp, with the volume rolled off to seven or eight.
My 'gig' Axe
Once you learn how to use a strat, it is easily the most versatile guitar for the money. I have two strats that I have modded to high heavens and back. This one has an olympic white American body, American single coil pups with bridge plate, upgraded CTS pots and wiring, mim 60th anniversary rosewood neck, D'Addario locking tuners.

Great
As an introduction to a Strat they sound pretty good and are built better than squiers (USUALLY)

his is the guitar! There is nothing with better playability and sound than this guitar.
This guitar comes closest to the sound that most people think of when they refer to the Stratocaster sound. The Strat is generally viewed as the Swiss army knife of guitars, finding itself suitable to most music styles.

Great for the clapton srv hendrix moments. The single coils are very hot but still very comfortable to play and sounds awesome

Love it!
The American Standard Strat is such a classic guitar. You can't really go wrong with it. It works well for both lead and rhythm but I prefer to use it for lead with the bridge pickup. Amazing guitar.

more info, we all know what's up with the American standard, but its had a lot of changes over the years.... like going to a 2 pin bridge assembly, and then recently getting rid of the stainless steel cast saddles in favor of vintage pressed steel. What version is yours? You need to talk a little more about it and do some actual reviewing.
