Description
Introducing the Friedman BE-OD Deluxe, an elevated successor to the original BE-OD. This cutting-edge overdrive pedal offers a broad spectrum of tones and superior tonal control, making it a quintessential addition to any musician's toolkit. It boasts dual overdrive channels, each with its own Drive, Tone, and Level controls to enable the creation of two distinctive overdrive tones, easily switchable at a foot's stomp.
Channel 1 offers a variety of medium-gain overdrive tones—ranging from a soft bluesy breakup to a hearty classic rock crunch. Channel 2, on the other hand, generates higher-gain overdrive tones, covering everything from chunky hard rock distortion to a saturated lead tone.
The Friedman BE-OD Deluxe also comes with a dedicated 3-band EQ for each overdrive channel, allowing for precise tonal shaping. This, combined with the Drive and Level knobs, gives you access to a wide array of overdrive tones, from warm and bassy to aggressive and mid-focused.
The pedal's robust aluminum housing and high-quality components are designed to withstand the rigors of live performance. The large, textured knobs ensure a non-slip grip, even in the heat of a performance, while the soft-touch footswitches allow for smooth channel engagement.

Very good pedal
The Friedman BE-OD Deluxe is an outstanding pedal for those seeking versatile, high-quality overdrive and distortion tones. However, for black metal or other extreme genres, it may require pairing with an additional pedal or an external EQ to achieve a sharper, more aggressive sound.
Found My Sound
Oh how I love this pedal. I've been growing tired of the tones from my amp. I needed something that could give me the sound I've had in my mind. I have another OD pedal that can get close, but it still wasn't right. I've wanted a Friedman amp for a long time, but couldn't afford to spend that kind of money. I figured why not take a shot at this. I figured even if it wasn't quite the real thing, it would be close. I'm so happy I pulled the trigger. The two channels are great since one is slightly less gain, and they both sound amazing. It is a hot-rodded Marshall in a box. It nails the sound I want without having to drop a ton of money.

Turn your single clean channel amp into a 3 channel modern monster!
From Blues Rock all the way into Modern Metal territory, this OD (more like a preamp/OD) gives it all. Its feature set is very impressive for such a small footprint, circuit is all analog (!!!), and internal Gain pots gives you even more control over the gnarliness of this beauty.
The only thing I wish it had was a remote port for channel switching and on/off, so I could keep this beautiful baby away from my goofy feet!

Best gain pedal I've used!
This thing is amazing, believe the hype. It turns the clean channel on my Fender Supersonic 22 head into a roaring beast. The green channel is creamy, not harsh at all. The blue is similar but different enough to have a cool rhythm sound. If you're considering this and watching every demo you can on YouTube like I did, trust me, it's worth the price tag!
