A great synth to evoke 1980
It does organ, strings, and brass synth sounds. The brass sound is very similar to the Mood Realistic MG1 but polyphonic. The strings section can sound like a Solina/Logan when the chorus is on. The organ section has 5 drawbar type controls. You can mix all three sounds in varying amounts and pan each one left or right. The red, yellow, and green color scheme on black is very charming. I have the Tubbutec Organ Donor midi kit installed in mine by Charles at OC Synth Lab.

Alberto Ferrari, along with Luca, used the Moog Opus 3 synthesizer for the track "WOW." This is evidenced by a Facebook post from Elefante Blu.
In the video titled "Artist Additions by Output - ANALOG STRINGS Expansion Modern String Beds with The Album Leaf," at the 0:32 mark, you can see the Moog Opus 3 synthesizer in the right-hand corner. This serves as proof that The Album Leaf uses this specific piece of music gear. The video is provided by Output, with musician Jimmy LaValle demonstrating the integration of Analog Strings with his setup.
"One of our favourite sounds, that we've used a lot and that keeps cropping up, is from an old ARP Quartet that we picked up for £30. It's a really 'cheesy' string synth of which we're great fans - we've also got a Moog Opus III. The trouble with old stuff is that it's always going down, but we're lucky in that we've got this friend Tony Wride, who we call Captain Techno, who helps out. He's an airline pilot [and ex-SOS writer] and he flies to America a lot - he's also an analogue freak and he brings over synths, repairs them, and then sells them. In fact we've got another ARP 2600 coming over with him - that's a synth that we've used a lot on this album."
There is very little info and/or footage of Tim playing the Moog Opus 3, however, the link shows him using it in 1996, which means he probably used it in the Hissing Prigs in Static Couture era.
The instrument appears on the list of instruments on official artist's website (http://olszak.pl/).
