A tuning Swiss knife

It does what it should and it does it well. The compact design is a plus too so you can take it with you anywhere without problems. I don't mind that much the polyphonic function, it is impressive but not that precise, it is a good and quick indicator if you are way too out of tune and you don't know which string is giving you trouble.

A great, small, accurate tuner that will satisfy anyone's tuning needs. Its reference frequency (A = 440 Hz) can be changed, and multiple strings can be checked at once, so it keeps tuning fast, which is important when you're on stage.

Slow, slow, slow.

Tuning a bass? Good luck. You will spend half the time just trying to get it to Recognize which string you’re on.

Tuning a guitar? Good luck, it’s slow and the multi-string function is useless.

It’s on my board for the size, but it’s be better off purchasing a Sonic Research Turbo Tuner or Peterson strobe mini.

Small & Awesome

The Noir replaces my Hardwire HT-6 which was good, but this thing is great! The read out of the Noir is nice, bright and easy to read. The display automatically switches between poly mode with a full note spectrum and single string tuning with a larger readout. The only way the Noir could be better was if TC Electronics provided it in the Blacklight aesthetic. All said and done, the Noir works like a champ with a micro footprint that's be hard to beat.

A Tuning sensation

This sleek and compact chromatic tuner is the best tuner I have experienced with. In comparison to the famous Boss Tu3, the Polytune has an easy to read screen due to its bright and large screen. You can easily see with a simple strum of all strings which string is out of tune which can make tunning even faster as you won't have to go through each string to find out the misbehaving string. If you use alternate tunings, don't want a tuner pedal to take space of your pedal board and want a large screen to see your tunning this is the tuner for you.

Good Tuner.

This tuner is good. Not great, but just good. I like it because it takes up about half the space of a Boss tuner. Lately I began to notice a delay in finding the note I'm playing. Or it would just be figuring out all the strings instead of the one I played. But my guitar is in perfect tune after all the struggling. I guess that is the most important feature.

Perfect tool

It's easy to see and it tunes accurately. Polyphonic tuning is useful. Option to use it in true bypass or as a buffer is nice. Requires very little pedalboard real estate.

The "Noir" black version looks cool.

I really don’t use the all strings at once thing, it’s too small and far away and I don’t see it that well, but tuner works great!
