Incredible for the Price

Bought this amp a few weeks ago, was really blown away by the tone and versatility. Wanted something fairly minimal on controls, which this is, but I'm still able to get a pretty diverse tone with what it's got.

While it IS a tube amplifier, I believe that the "Dark" option as well as the built in reverb are digital effects. Havn't really noticed the bass boost (dark) sounding too synthetic or otherwise taking away from the tone of the amp, but the reverb leaves a little to be desired. That said, I didn't buy it for the reverb.

The "Girth" option, along with being a funny name for the distortion setting, is really solid. Not too intense, but definitely has a fun vibe to it. I get a lot of a garage rock tone from it, which I'm a big fan of.

Over all it's a great amp. A little dark on the tone, but it is the night train, I'm pairing it with a fairly bright sounding guitar (electromatic projet) so it all evens out. Would buy again.
