Bargain option for heavy metal or as a pre-amp clean boost

This one is a mixed bag for me, on one hand it's an authentic take on the Boss HM-2 - turn all the dials up to 11 and you have an instant swedish chainsaw. On the other, it's noisy as all heck (hissing/static) sometimes it can be hard to make out the tones through the distortion (unless thats what you want..!) I found it most useful as a clean boost/equaliser with distortion off actually. The equaliser has high, low and 2 mids. You will have to fiddle with it a bit to get the tone you want out of it, but it's a solid <£20 addition to your board.

Great pedal for a low price

It is seriously a great pedal just in general, if you brought me a range of heavy distortion pedals with this being a $25-$30 new pedal, and some more expensive pedals ranging from $65-$100+, and blindfolded me while having me run through each pedal randomly, I definitely would guess at least $65 pedal, it is just mind blowing how far manufactures have come in created high quality gear at such low easily affordable prices.

Decent

As a preamp this thing is amazing. Into the front of the map it sounded terrible but in the fx loop return i got some crushing tones out of this its just a matter of sitting with it and messing around for a bit.
