Intuitive DAW, with a dream workflow
I love the modulation options, routing options, and grouping functionality. It's the easiest DAW I've come across for editing arrangements. The piano roll is good. I love layered editing and MIDI channels.
Version: Bitwig Studio 2Instant And Endless Modulation Possibilities
Bitwig raised the bar when it comes to modulation within the Daws. Bitwig is like one big modular synthesizer that can do so much. I use it in conjunction with the Maschine Jam and it's a blast coming up with fresh and fast ideas for new compositions. Although most tutorials on you tube show it in an electronic music context. But it's very very good tool working with acoustic film scores / game scores too! Love it!
Version: Bitwig Studio 2206
Cool DAW, still needs some development however
The built-in instruments really amazed me, they sound great. I don't really like the keyboard shortcuts however and the interface can be a bit confusing. MIDI usage still needs a lot of developement and is not what I expected it to be. I still prefer Ableton over Bitwig, but I love to use Bitwig on my other laptop while I'm traveling.
Version: Bitwig Studio 198
My #1 Music Production DAW
I used to use logic, then someone told me to get Bitwig and i haven't looked back at all. i had a problem choosing between logic and ableton, and bitwig was the in between. It has been the daw i've been looking for. 100% my favourite music production software without a doubt
Version: Bitwig Studio 1199
Love it. So fast and easy to use, never crash and is so good looking :)
This is the best DAW I've used. The integrated devices (plugins) are great too! Things I miss is a Match EQ, recording like the one in Logic Pro and better compatibility with the waves plugins.

Deadmau5 is using Bitwig Studio in his April 08, 2014 Live Stream. The opening shot of the video recording of his stream is the interface for Bitwig Studio itself, and the logo can be spotted in the upper-left corner.
"I'm a huge fan of Bitwig. It has cemented itself as a highly creative and future proof DAW that is simple to use but allows advanced users to get deep with Bitwig's modular architecture. The modulators are such a unique and powerful feature that can yield extremely creative results with even the most vanilla plugins. I also love the MPE support especially with Bitwig's Polysynth. I truly believe that it's only a matter of time before MPE replaces the MIDI standard and so far Bitwig has implemented MPE in the most simple and user friendly way." edIT/ The Glitch Mob
at around 0:50, there is a video of peggy mixing a song which matches the exact interface of bitwig.

Camo & Krooked have been using Bitwig Studio since 2017 for their music productions. In a blog post on Bitwig's official website, they discuss how Bitwig Studio enhances their workflow by allowing them to work on multiple projects simultaneously. This capability was particularly beneficial during their collaboration with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra as part of Red Bull Symphonic. Krooked stated, "We might have a drum project, a melody project, and a sound design project all open at the same time, and we'll just drag parts between them to see what works. If it doesn't, we delete it and try the next thing. This has made our workflow so much better."
"They originally sent me a free copy when it first came out, in exchange for any technical feedback I could give them, so I dived in and really liked what I found. [...] I’m raving about it because I think it is the first genuinely innovative sequencer I’ve used since Ableton Live, thirteen years ago, and they seem genuinely interested in what their potential users think of their software. [...]
Tabbed projects, hybrid tracks, clips AND arrangement on the same screen, totally interconnectable and modular by design [and set to become more so, if their press is to be believed] and no fucking MAX MSP in sight! The arrange window ‘reads’ left to right, with the mixer controls on the left like EVERY other sequencer EVER [Ableton, wtf were you thinking?] and the plugin delay compensation works so well I completely forgot to think about it.
It would appear that Bitwig have been listening more attentively to Ableton Live’s user-base than Ableton have."
Fanu often talks about using bitwig and has some bitwig tutorials. One example is this twitter post.
According to Tokyo Machine's manager on the Tokyo Machine and CHOMPO Discord server, Tokyo Machine uses the DAW Bitwig Studio. The manager also mentioned that Tokyo Machine previously used Ableton Live before switching to Bitwig Studio.
