Great Starter Amp, but...

Great starter amp.

Wish I could use a footswitch with it.

Bottom line: If you are brand new to guitar buy this.

My first amp

I got this bundled with my first guitar in 2012 and kept the amp until 2018. It sounded pretty terrible, but it put out sound and worked fine to practice with. Can’t really complain about it for a super cheap practice amp

Ok for beginners

Was looking for a cheap replacement amp and eventually got this one. For $60, you get the simple basics and nothing more. It got me through a year and then I upgraded to a better amp.

Niiiiice

Yeeeee the big classic in your bedroom! Do you want Fender Cleans? There are plenty of them inside this little cheap guy! Small indie-lo-fi jam session with friends? There you have it!

I personally don't love the OD channel, but it is a small transistor 6" speaker 10 watt amp and keeping low gain and quite high volume it doesn't work bad at all, it is just the copy of a spikey, icy fender overdrive sound! ;)

Anyway, for what it costs, and for the purpose it is designed, it is a small workhorse.

It can do cleans I guess

The cleans tone is pretty good, but the EQ knobs are a bit wonky, so it takes some time to dial it in. The overdrive sounds like a phone speaker, just dont touch it and you'll be alright.

it works great for what i use it for.

it can actually be pretty loud, with the right settings, but if turned up to 10, experiences really nasty screeching sounds, but, it is great for practicing, and annoying the living daylights out of parents

A Perfect Starter Amp

I got this amp from when I got my Squier Affinity Stratocaster. I use this amp still to this day, mainly because I don't have enough money for another amp. However, this amp still is able to get some gritty tones as well as a clean tone.

Depends on your level, genre, and play style

I'd recommend someone this amp only if they were a beginner, it is not very powerful and only has overdrive built-in, it's not good for a more intermediate player who loves hard rock and metal like myself.
