Classic in every way
This guitar has been my workhorse for 30 years and it shows it. It has the weight and feel of a solid handcrafted instrument and the tone is so satisfying - the Seymour Duncan mini-humbucker pickups give me the warmth and guts when I need it and brightness and cut when I want that. This is a classic and it just so happens it was made on my birthday! (August 14) So obviously, it was made just for me. I can't imagine ever being without it.

Its just great. I Swapped out the pickups for my own "Free Rider" hot wound firebird pickups, added a bigsby b7, harmonica bridge, in/out of phase switch, and killswitch. I used this on our song "Angry Grouper and the 3 Prostitutes". Works great with my Fender Blues Deluxe and Big Muff

2008 Goldtop LP Deluxe GOTM
Excellent and fairly light for a Les Paul. A couple of minor finish flaws that don't really bother me and she's already starting to check (I do a lot of outdoor hot and sweaty summer gigs). The stock Gibson minis are outstanding and articulate. Good note separation even with higher gain settings. Slim taper neck feels great for fast playing with no significant fatigue.
Cherry, love at first sight.
This was my first Gibson Les Paul. Acctually is a standard plus 2011, but more like the one of this picture. Cherry Sunburst with the slash seymour duncan's pickups. Just Great! And it's a really light les paul these 2011 standard plus, great for live performance.
Best Guitar I have ever owned.
This Les Paul Gold top is the best Guitar I have ever owned. It's Is absolutely amazing. I caught an amazing deal on it for $600 dollars from a pawn shop that thought it was the studio version. If you can get your hands on one please for your own good. DO IT.

I have a few. The one I’m playing a lot these days is the Les Paul Deluxe. I read somewhere that the mini-humbuckers were the replacement for the P-90 - an attempt to pull back on the “my god – who’s buzzing like crazy” that the P’s can have sometimes. True to the word, I find the Deluxe tight, punchy and nicely heavy in the mid-range, like a P-90 but without the sound engineer throwing something at me.
