Description

Unleash the raw energy and iconic tone of Green Day's seminal album, Dookie, with the MXR DD25 Green Day Dookie Drive V3. This pedal is not just a piece of equipment; it's your gateway to replicating the dynamic, gritty sound that propelled punk into the mainstream. The Dookie Drive V3 is meticulously engineered to clone the distinctive sonic blend of Billie Joe Armstrong's dual-amp setup—combining the ferocity of high gain with the clarity of a well-defined midrange. With this pedal, you're not just playing music; you're channeling the spirit of an era.

Crafted with precision, the Dookie Drive offers individual control over its High Gain and Crunch Gain sections, allowing you to sculpt your sound with the finesse of a studio mixer. The magic, however, lies in the Blend control, which lets you merge these tones in proportions that suit your track, much like Green Day did in the making of Dookie. For those seeking to add a bit more edge, the Scoop switch cuts through the mix by emphasizing the midrange, ensuring your riffs stand out with clarity and punch. Encased in a unique, limited edition housing adorned with "The Father of All..." unicorn artwork, this pedal is as visually striking as it is sonically powerful.

Whether you're a die-hard Green Day fan or a guitarist in search of that elusive punk rock tone, the MXR DD25 Dookie Drive V3 offers a sonic playground that's rich in history and versatility. Plug in and let the rebellion begin.

Key Features:

  • Dual Gain Circuits: High Gain for scooped tones and Crunch Gain for midrange clarity
  • Blend Control: Mix your perfect balance between high and crunch gain settings
  • Scoop Switch: Adds an extra dimension by scooping the midrange for standout riffs

Suprisingly versatile!

I have been using this as a way to quiet down my guitar tone and have almost like a phone-call esque filter. Perfect for guitar intros that go into an explosive section.
