My DAW of choice

I used FL Studio for a very long time (started when it was still called Fruity Loops!), up until around 2014 when I started playing with Ableton Live (then at version 9). Never looked back. Upgraded to 10 and love it. I'm related to someone on the design team in Berlin too! ;)

Perfect Beginner DAW.

Got it with my Alesis V25. Been using it ever since. Perfect for beginners, still has many useful features, even for a lite version, it's amazing.

I Like abelton Live 9 because

I like Abelton Live 9 because even though its hard to use its always good to play songs off of this software. Its also great to have this software in general because when you collab with different producers that use a different Digital audio workstation its just great to have on hand so you can collab.

Ableton runs our clicks

Ableton runs our click tracks and lighting cues through midi channels we have a synchronized light show. I use a USB num pad on stage to trigger the starts of songs.

Really good!

If you already own Serum (or any other VST Synth), sample packs and you don't need extra Ableton stock plugins then Ableton Live 10 Standard is good enough to make music, it is worth a price.

SIMPLICITY AT BEST

Quite honestly, if there is something you want done...Ableton will make it happen with no hidden fees. This DAW is a little overwhelming at first, but if you keep up with it you will start to notice your workflow increase immensely over the time period. I see myself sticking with this DAW for the rest of my time as a producer. READ THE MANUAL IT HELPS! :)
