One of the few
This 57' Gibson LP is one of the few I'd love to have on My Rack. The first thing I'd have done to it is a Bigsby. ( a Neil Young thing I pick up working with Him years ago )

Nick Perri's number 1 axe has been his 1957 Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty reissue named "Bella." This guitar goes all the way back to the Silvertide days.
In an interview featured on the Twisted Sister website, John Seagall discusses his use of the Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty.
When I saw him in September of 2016 it appeared that the strap was held on with duct tape and the pickup switch is completely covered up. The guitar is decorated with silver sharpie and says "Stay Heavy". In this video from March earlier the same year, it looks like Dave was playing the same guitar.
"The Les Pauls are pretty much the only guitars I play with as far as Weedeater goes", Dave Shepherd in Fret12 Q&A video
In the official video for the Kaiser Chiefs' song "Ruby," Andrew White is seen playing a Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, as uploaded by KaiserChiefsVEVO on YouTube.
Spotted playing this guitar in pictures from 1982, so it is more than likely an original three pickup 'Black Beauty' and not a reissue,
Dubbed "#1", this guitar has been with Gordie since the early days of big sugar and is featured in the cover art of "Five Hundred Pounds"
I had an old Black Beauty Les Paul, with the staple pickups, and I also had a ’52 Tele, and y’know a few years back they were going for like $100,000! It used to drive me crazy that I sold them, until I got on The Office, and then it was like, ‘Well I can buy whatever I want now!’ But I don’t think I’d buy those guitars again now. I needed the money! I needed to pay rent, to pay child support, and you gotta do what you gotta do.
Iva Davies owned a Gibson Les Paul Custom "Black Beauty," which was stolen from his hotel in Fairfield, Sydney in 1980, as reported by the NZ Herald in an article titled “‘Good money, no questions asked’: A rock star’s 45-year quest for a ‘priceless’ guitar.”
