Amazing guitar!

I love this guitar. P90s should be in every players arsenal and the SG is just a classic.

great guitar

I use it on our cover of "Sunshine of Your Love" and it is great. I modified it with a harmonica bridge and brass block shaped tailpiece. I noodle on it a fair bit, its just a raw blues rock instrument.

"I've been using the same guitar for about the past ten years now, which is a GIbson SG from the 90's that someone before me modified with a new pickguard which enables it to hold regular P-90 pick ups. I've just realized recently how important the P-90s are to the sound I've been getting for years, and that their clarity has allowed me to get away with some of the more dissonant/weird chords I use sometimes and have it not sound like mud. So, getting the guitar with them in it was really a happy accident I feel. That guitar was used for every track on Orchid, Bucket Full of Teeth, and Failures records."

Shooter's signature Gibson SG Jr that he has been using since at least late 2018, when he began making music under the new epitaph "Negative XP". There is a video/stream of him saying his SG has South Korean made P90 pickups. He also stated that he paid about $800-$900 for it, despite the usual price of this model being around $1300. It can be assumed that this is the guitar he uses to write, play and record all of his music, since his only other guitars are his acoustic and the Jackson he used under his original name, School Shooter.
