Description
The JHS Double Barrel V4 is the perfect overdrive pedal for musicians seeking a versatile, yet incredibly transparent effect for medium and light-gain levels. This pedal is not about extreme distortion, but rather a characterful overdrive with the ability to nuance a wide range of musical tones.
At the heart of this unit are two distinctly unique overdrive circuits - The Moonshine V2 on the right and The Morning Glory V4 on the left. The Moonshine V2, a highly-tweaked version of a famous green-box overdrive, offers the classic mid-heavy tones with an added “Clean” knob to perfectly blend your clean and overdrive signals.
The Morning Glory V4, on the other hand, has a reputation for delivering transparent, open tones. It comes with a new high-gain toggle that can be remotely controlled using the JHS Pedals Red Remote, offering on-the-fly tonal options.
The real magic of the Double Barrel V4 comes alive when these two circuits are stacked together, creating original, fresh tones with ease. Plus, an "order switching" toggle allows you to decide which pedal comes first in the signal chain, further expanding your tonal possibilities.

super cool pedal!
I've tried this pedal with my Fender Strat into a Vox AC4. The pedal sounds LOVELY. The palette of sounds that you can get from this pedal is really AWESOME. The Morning Glory makes the amp sound creamy and full. When I change the mode the pedal adds a bit more of gain to the sound which is really good for some rhythmic parts :) Then you have a complete a completely new sound when you turn the Moonshine on. Amazing overdriven/distorted sound. That's not all, you can use both pedals together and you can also change de the order of the pedals.
I am really happy with this buy. Now I need to put the pedal with my entire rig and try it with my others amps and guitar to see how it work.
