This 60W combo amp combines the legendary Orange tone with the convenience of solid-state technology, delivering a range of sounds that will satisfy any guitarist's palette.

Modeled after the timeless Rockerverb, the four gain stages of the dirty channel provide a spectrum of overdrive sounds from bluesy crunch to face-melting distortion. This channel is complemented by a three-band EQ for ultimate tonal flexibility, catering to all music styles.

Orange CR60C Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Orange CR60C Crush Pro is a solid-state gem that channels the brand's iconic tube vibe without the hefty price tag. Guitarists will appreciate its impressively dynamic clean tones and robust dirty channel, reminiscent of the Rockerverb. The amp's two-channel design is straightforward, making it a practical choice for stage performances. Its digital reverb offers versatility, but the absence of a footswitch is a minor drawback. While it might not satisfy tube purists with its high-gain depth, the CR60C stands out for its affordability and stage readiness, making it a strong contender for budget-conscious musicians seeking Orange's signature sound.

Orange Crush Pro Series CR60C review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Orange Amplifiers Crush Pro CR60C is a solid-state guitar amp that impressively emulates the brand's signature valve tone, offering robust build quality and great value for money. It shines with its clean channel's rich, chimey sound and versatile reverb effects, making it a solid choice for gigging musicians. However, it's notably heavy and lacks a mid control on the clean channel, which might be a drawback for some users. Overall, this amp is lauded for its practicality and performance, especially for those seeking an affordable, reliable gigging amp.

All you need

This i used during Set 2023 - May 2024. Its a really really good amp. Has a lot of features and plays fantastic. Its a good amp to use with pedals, its a more warm sound and its not at all bad.

Hard to imagine a better solid state combo

I had always avoided Orange amps because I associated them with stoner metal, which is a genre I like but not one I play. I played this one for fun at Guitar Center, and was so impressed by both its clean and distortion sounds that I left with it that day.

For a solid state amp, the distortion is absolutely incredible. I love pedals, but this is my main distortion now. The only down side is that it's pretty saturated even at lower gain settings, and the mid frequency EQ doesn't get quite as biting as I'd like it to. Those are really minor complaints, though. Like I said, I love it so much it put me off of buying any more distortion pedals for the time being.

The clean channel is what really amazed me, though. I'm always looking for pedal platform amps, and running my board into the effects loop on the clean channel sounds gorgeous. Without the effects, it has a sparkle not unlike classic Fender amps, and I can't give a higher compliment than that.

For the money, I can't recommend this enough. Every bit as good as far more expensive combos.

Excellent for anything from home practice to gigging.

I don't have too much to say about this amp, it's my favorite mid-range amp out there. Pros: -Gorgeous Tones. It can do anything from jazz to metal. -Beautiful design. Who doesn't love a good ol' Orange amp? -Lighter than a lot of amps that are similar in size. -Great for recording Cons: -Only has a 1x12, although I'm not gonna complain too much because it sounds amazing. However, I would like a 2x12 inside of this thing and the ability to take stereo pedals. -No headphone out.

clinton_vest

best solid state amp ever!!!

Man this thing is a beast, it puts out plenty of sound and is great for just about any genre. Not to mention the low cost of $500. I can chug my telecaster like a steam engine when I max out the distortion on this thing. Would definitely buy another.

cammojodragon

Great sounds

As loud as I need it to be, breakup sounds natural and wonderful, plays very nicely with my pedals, even has some nice built in digital reverbs (the Hall is my favourite). I will say that I found the clean channel to be uninspiring, although strangely, I run the distortion channel clean and that sounds fantastic (and what's more, when I let my pedals go crazy, that lovely break up comes in and adds to it all).

blakeindisguise

From a Garage Blues player...

This amp has the one and only best clean channel! Just at the edge of break up, which makes it very easy to change to a dirty channel and get into the classic hot orange grit rock. These adjectives may not mean much to you but many of my friends have thought I was playing a Orange Rockerverb because of the great built in reverb (which there are 3 types of included).

Lastly I will say play this in store that cute little thumbnail sized picture does not do this combo amp justice as it is rather large and gigable. Originally I had wanted to pick up a CR-120 which is 2x12. 1x12 is plenty big for my needs!

nairny98

Better than my friends Marshall Valve amp.

I could not believe how good this amp was. The tones I can achieve with this amp is unreal and it takes pedals like a dream. No warm up times and no changing valve every 6 months.

Great Amp & Just What I needed

Sounds super cool with the Fulltone OCD pedal & Gibson Les Paul. It's heavy but it should be. Looks great! Does everything I need...right now :)

vladimirkulichenko

nice clean !!!

I use such in a linking of a stereo with combo "yerasov classic 45." ?ool design, excellent sound, rather loud for scenic work
