Best bang for buck in the history of music

Was about 300 bucks I think,? Got it about three years ago. Tuning is kinda wonky when I play cowboy chords, but for everything else this guitar is a beast. Beautiful guitar, frets are a teeny bit sharp but can be fixed. Because of the price, this is a steal. It's a beautiful, twangy ass tele, as basic as can be, for CHEAP CHEAP.

Perfect modding platform!

Four stars because of bent selector, but I got one of these from Fender for nothing when I worked at a guitar shop.

Put a nice black pearloid pickguard on it, got the selector replaced, and next up - new pickups! For the price, it's a great modding platform.

Absolutely my favourite electric guitar that I own

I have a Mk1 Affinity Tele in black with maple neck, bought off the peg in 2001 and my favourite guitar. Songs just pour out of it whenever I pick it up. A truly magical instrument. Named "Will" after Will Sergeant, who played a black and maple Tele in the heyday of the Bunnymen. I particularly love that this has toploading strings rather than thru body like my Mexican Tele, because I use very light strings and not only does a 90degree bend weaken them, but the nut falls out too easily on the Mex and I've lost so many on dark stages that I don't even use the guitar any more. The Affinity is my favourite guitar I own.

Travel Guitar

I wanted a guitar that I could travel with that offered decent features but wouldn't be such a risk to take along - baggage handlers, thieves, etc... This one works for me. The frets needed to be filed at the edges to improve the comfort. It doesn't have the electronics of a true Tele but it serves me well when I'm sitting on a lanai in Hawaii.

Was a present, and I'm super happy with it. It's not the best guitar in the world, I mean they do sell for $180 at most. But for beginners and leisure players like me it's a nice addition. I swapped the pickups for EMGs, added some Ernie Ball strings, and gave it a new paint job. So it looks and sounds about 100x better. I previously used an Epiphone G400 as my primary guitar, and I couldn't be happier with the switch

First guitar, super pleased

This the first guitar I've ever bought and I gotta say it's awesome, I have no complaints. All it took was a good setup and it sounds great.

Great, well balanced guitar!

Iv'e had my fender Squier tele for 15 years now. I can honestly say that its one of the most playable and fun guitars to play. The funny thing is when I was a teen I absolutely hated telecasters. And then I actually played one. And since then it has always been one of my go to guitars. Some Squiers are dodgy. So you should really play them a bit before buying. But when you find a good one they can be pretty nice guitars. This one has a 3 way selector switch and 2 single coil pickups. And it definitely sounds like a Tele. Its a very light guitar..well balanced and super easy to play! I added a Fernandes Sustainer pick up and simply can stop playing it!

This is overall a good guitar for the price. If you want to buy your first guitar, this is a good choice.

Its pretty good for the price

the color is much whiter than advertised but sounds great. Could get much better sound with new strings. possibly a pick up upgrade if you want to go the extra mile
