Description
The Maxon AD-9 Pro Analog Delay is a testament to the pursuit of perfect tone. It is a reimagining of the classic analog delay, designed to deliver the best sounding, most reliable performance ever. This pedal captures the essence of vintage analog delay units that have been the dream of musicians for ages. A combination of a Panasonic MN3205 BBD IC and a Signetics NE570 compander, it provides a warm and crystal-clear delay time, adjustable repeats, and zero clock noise.
From the Rock-A-Billy slapback echo to the erratic, runaway delays, the AD-9 Analog Delay is capable of creating a diverse range of time-delay effects. Thanks to the Panasonic MN3205, this pedal can produce 10-300 milliseconds of variable delay time. Its repeat control offers additional spatial effects by adjusting the repeats from one to infinity, emulating various room sizes.
The Delay Level control on this stompbox adjusts the mix between dry and effected signals. This allows the delayed signal to either subtly add ambience or take the front stage for a greater impact. The AD-9 also features stereo outputs, offering a variety of signal routing options for use with multiple amplifier setups or mixer channels.
