Used for vocals on Mama's Gun, as stated by engineer Russell Elevado in this July 21, 2017 Crack interview.
I used the Neumann U47 and U67 quite a lot on Erykah’s vocals as well as on drums and bass. I also used the RCA 44-B ribbon mic to record Roy Hargrove’s horns. The RCA 44-B microphone is from the 50s and the Neumann microphones from the 60s.
All of the mics would go through vintage mic preaamps like Neve and Telefunken.
I also used an Ampeg B-15 amplifier for the bass, and vintage Pultec tube equalisers.
In a photo from Vladtv, Nas is pictured with a Neumann U67 microphone alongside Mariah Carey.
Used on Electric Ladyland, as stated by recording engineer Eddie Kramer in this November 2005 Sound on Sound interview.

Used for the electric guitar on Superwolves, as stated by Daniel Schlett in this May 21, 2021 Mix article.
“The first day or two was just those guys capturing songs, some acoustic and mellow and some of them with Matt’s electric guitar,” Schlett recalls. He captured Oldham’s vocal with a vintage Neumann U47 into a Neve 1070 mic preamp. Sweeney’s guitar amp was miked up with a U67 into an ADL 670 or UREI Silver 1176 compressor/limiter.
“The ADL 670 would have been used on the vocal. Will’s vocal is the only thing I put through a Neve pre,” Schlett says. “Everything else went through the pre’s in our API Legacy console.
While recording 'Venus Doom' Producer Tim Palmer said: 'A Neumann U67. It has a really warm, full sound, and, if you crank the preamp, the mic distorts beautifully when the vocalist screams'
