The Fender Hot Rod DeVille 212 IV is the result of Fender's commitment to continuously improving their legendary amplifiers, taking into account feedback from hundreds of players worldwide. This 60-watt 2x12 combo amp is the go-to for gigging guitarists, delivering hot-rodded power and performance in abundance.
With a pair of 12 in. Celestion A-Type speakers, the DeVille 212 IV offers a well-balanced output, with smooth highs, laid-back midrange, and full, round lows. The modified preamp circuitry enhances overdriven note definition, maintaining sonic clarity no matter how hard you push this amp.

Classic Fender 2x12 - Loud and proud!
Classic Fender amplifier. Great clean tone and useable drive for certain genres of music. As mentioned in other reviews, it’s loud and can be a nuisance on gigs where lower stage volumes are key. It is also heavy, so make sure you have a strong back/trolley to move around venues.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
For controlling the volume, I have had great success using a JHS Little Black Amp box in the effects loop. Get yourself one, keep in your bag and keep venues happy when required!

Kyle: We tracked all the guitars through my Marshall JTM 60 1×12 combo and a 4×12 Fender DeVille, pretty much just my normal live rig. I still don’t use much in the way of pedals in the studio, just a ProCo RAT on some songs and a TC Electronic Mimiq for some doubling.
You’ll probably notice a lot of shimmery chorus and some 80s Judas Priest turbo-style distortion. All of those come from this really cool Ensoniq effects rack we bought. I couldn’t tell ya what the model is, but it’s packed with sweet over-the-top effects which are fun to use.
